Many know the story of Little Red Riding Hood.where the wolf was disguised as her grannie and wanted to kill and eat her. Well, when the Lord magnified to me, "Do not be deceived" years ago, I did not realize that our enemy wanted to disguise himself as Jesus' mother Mary and steal from us, kill us and eat us, to make us part of his body - to make ME part of his body! When you are deceived you don't know it. But Jesus can open the eyes of the blind. He was my only hope, as I tell in JESUS THE BRIDGE. Holy Spirit inspired me to cry out for the Lord to open my eyes, and He brought me from death to life, thanks be to God.

It is written that the devil can come disguised as "an angel of light." (2 Cor. 11:14) And I had had a deep devotion to Mary, praying the rosary daily for 40 years. Like "Red", I was horrified to see that I had been deceived - by the one we called, "Our Lady." She was actually the enemy in disguise, Lady Babylon, the Lady of many nations, "the Lady of kingdoms." (Isa. 47:5) I honor the real Mary, knowing that she would never accept worship. Thank God, like "Red" who was given a red cape to cover her head and body, I was happy to learn I had been given the red blood of Jesus as a covering.

One of the gifts of the Holy Spirit is "discerning of spirits." (1 Cor. 12:10) If you ask God for it you will receive it. So I began to see through the disguises after the Lord awoke me when I received a fresh baptism of fire and the Holy Spirit on Nov. 25, 1994, sticking me to the floor for many hours. I felt the heat of the refining fire for weeks and tell of these experiences in my book-sei, JESUS THE BRIDGE. I stopped praying and promoting the rosary that night and asked God for Scriptural truth. When I realized how deeply deceived I had been, I felt like I had been raped by the devil and cried for a week. So the Lord told me, "Wash yourself in the public pool." Therefore I did so spiritually and with full immersion water baptism.

We have an enemy who wants to steal from us, kill and destroy, any way he can, whether we deserve it or not. But Jesus came, full of grace and mercy, so we "may have life ... and have it more abundantly." (John 10:10) In order to spot the counterfeit, you need to study the genuine. That is why I wrote JESUS THE BRIDGE. No more did I want to give the devil the legal right to kill me - or anyone else, by mistakenly tring to take the wrong bridge. I wanted others to see what and Who I have found,

I always tried to be a good person, but was tricked to follow the devil for a short while. "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God," (Rom. 3:23) The devil is a liar but Jesus is truth. "The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.."  (Rom. 6:23) There are blessings for obedience but sin deserves punishment. That is why we need Jesus. So many today do not realize that what they are doing is sin. But when we receive a baptism of the Holy Spirit, He convinces us of what is sin, righteousment and judgment. "Submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you." (James 4:7) "If we confess our sins, He [Jesus] is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9)

Like me, many might have thought they were serving God by following and promoting the directives of the Lady. But they do not line up with Scripture. Firstly, we are not even supposed to be praying to those who died, even dead saints. And it is written, "there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus [not Mary.]" (1 Tim. 2:5) And Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." (John 14:6) Our Catholic Church leaders meant well, but they were deceived too. The Bible clearly shows that Mary is not the Mediatrix of all grace. St. John even wrote that "grace and truth came through Jesus Christ." (John 1:17) Thank God I repented and received forgiveness and the free gift of salvation purchased by the grace of God, Only the blood of Jesus and the water of His word could wash away my sin and the shame I felt.

The Jews in Queen Esther's time were surprised to learn that their enemy had been given the legal right to kill them. So was I. When we agree with the devil, we give him a legal right over us. But like Esther I went to King Jesus and He has given God's people weapons, swords of the Spirit, and the legal right to defend ourselves. Find the Biblical swords in my books and Holy Spirit will bring to your memory the words to use at the right time - as He did with Jesus when He was tempted in the wilderness. I am grateful that Jesus always has a way out of temptation for His people.
