    JESUS, NOT MARY

    August 5, 2025

When I was a child and a young woman, I loved God intensely and had been a sincere follower of Mary too. I even tried to convince Protestants to pray to her. What a surprise it was for me to find that the Bible says it is Jesus, not Mary, who is worthy!

The word of the Lord had come to me years before,

"The truth will set you free," and "Do not be deceived. "

Since the Holy Spirit of God is "The Spirit of truth," I began to seek Holy Spirit and the truth of God which is in His word, remembering that Jesus said,

"'And when He has come, He will convict [convince] the world of sin, and of righteousness and of judgment ... I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. '" (John 16:8-14)

Jesus knew that His disciples still had more to learn and so do we. A few years ago at an Aglow prayer breakfast, as The Sniders led us in praise and worship songs, the Holy Spirit magnified to me the words of their song,

    "Only He is worthy. "

I immediately thought of the Book of The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which proclaims that Jesus, the Lion of Judah, the Lamb who was slain, is worthy. John the apostle wrote what he saw and heard when he was taken up to heaven in the Spirit:

"The 24 elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying:

'You are worthy, 0 Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and by Your will they exist and were created.'

And I saw in the right hand of Him who sat on the throne a scroll written inside and on the back, sealed with seven seals. Then I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice,

'Who is worthy to open the scroll and to loose its seals? "

And no one in heaven or on the earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll, or to look at it.

[When I first read this, I was amazed that no one in heaven was worthy – not even Mary!]

So I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open and read the scroll, or to look at it. But one of the elders said to me,

'Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals.' And I looked, and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain .....

And they sang a new song, saying:

'You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open its seals; for You were slain, and have redeemed us to God by Your blood out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, and have made us kings and priests to our God; and we shall reign on the earth.'

Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures and the elders; and the number of them was 10,000 times 10,000, and thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice:

'Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom, and strength and honor and glory and blessing! '

And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying:

'Blessing and honor and glory and power be to Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, forever, and ever! '

Then the four living creatures said, 'Amen!' And the 24 elders fell down and worshiped Him who lives forever and ever.(Rev. 4:10 - Rev. 5:6,9-14)

In heaven, all of creation proclaims this. Thank God Jesus, who is God and came as a Man, overcame every temptation and was/is the spotless Lamb of God who took/takes away the sins of believers, Jewish and Gentile. It happened at the cross; yet time for God is different than for us.

    God told Habakkuk,

“‘Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.’” (Hab. 2:2-3)

The prophet was to write the vision which God gave him – not just something he imagined on his own. He was to see in his sanctified imagination what God said to and showed him. (Hab. 2:1)

Since 1981, the Lord has sent me many times to the church to say, “Come out of her, my people, lest you take part in her sins, lest you take part in her plagues.” And then less than twenty years ago, the word of the Lord came to me, “They’re coming out.” And He also said, “like Charleton Heston.” Therefore I have had the picture in my mind from the “Ten Commandments” movie of all the Israelites coming out of Egypt. God’s word accomplishes that for which He sent it, so I believe all, yes all, Roman Catholics and any Protestants who are also in captivity in “Babylon”  are coming out to worship God alone and be welcomed into the fullness of the body of Christ, The JESUS THE BRIDGE book-set will facilitate this. "To God be the glory!”

    With love in Christ Jesus,

    Nancy Salvador
